Henry Moor – Registrar - Artist unknown - http://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/moor-henry-2473 - Moor was Port Phillip's most prominent lay Anglican, being the first registrar of the diocese of Melbourne from 13 February 1848 to 18 March 1854.

Thomas Turner a'Beckett MLC – Registrar - Artist unknown - http://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/a-beckett-thomas-turner-2861 - He was registrar of the diocese of Melbourne in 1854-87, and acted at various times as treasurer of the Church of England Society for Promoting Temperance, and secretary of the Melbourne Grammar School and of the Religious Tract Society of Victoria.

William Edward Morris - Registrar - Artist - Baron Arpad de Paszthory - http://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/morris-william-perry-will-11174 - He was deputy-registrar (later registrar) of the Anglican diocese of Melbourne. W. E. Morris from 1887-1910.

Edward Charles Rigby C.B.E. Diocesan Advocate - Artist Aileen Dent - http://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/rigby-edward-charles-8211 - Long-standing association with the Anglican Church as a worshipper, choirmaster and organist led in 1903 to his becoming a member of synod. In 1915 he was elected lay canon of St Paul's Cathedral and in 1944 Archbishop Booth appointed him advocate of the diocese.
