Pizzey Memorial Endowment - In 1918, 1000 shares in G. Pizzey and Son Ltd. were handed over for the purpose of erecting a Sunday School, to be known as the Pizzey Memorial. In 1921 the shares were converted into cash, the Sunday School built and the balance of the proceeds lodged with the Diocesan Trust Fund as an Endowment for the parish. This indenture September 19 1917 between the Church of England Trusts Corporation and Alfred Eliel Pizzey estate of the late George Martin Pizzey deceased are desirous that a Sunday School building in connection with the Church of England should be erected at Diamond Creek in memory of the said George Martin Pizzey.
