Provincial Synod.

- Loose sheet at front of book dated March 9 1915 Official Summons to the Meeting of the Provincial Synod with hand written notes - Memo sent to Representatives of Diocese of Melbourne with official summons. It is signed by the Archbishop or Registrar.

- November 9 - 10 1938 Synod - Copy of the Summons to Bishop of Ballarat - Johnson. Business Paper which outlines the proceedings. Card for Victoria Palace Little Collins St. where breakfast and lunch was held. Nov 10 Revd Benson had permission to display new religious films.

- August 13 1941 Summons and correspondence sent to Melbourne representatives that as there will not be a quorum of Bishops ( therefore no business will be transacted) there is no need to attend the meeting.

- May 9 1944 Summons and Business Paper.

- July 8 - 9 1952 Business Paper. Reverend S. H. Burridge (Mission of St. James and St. John), the Reverend G. K. Tucker (Brotherhood of St. Laurence), the Reverend N. G. Malloy (St. John's Boys Home) and the Reverend G. T. Sambell (Melbourne Diocesan Centre) addressed the meeting regarding Social Services of the Church.

- August 13 1964 Business Paper. Provincial Synod gave approval to certain alterations to the Constitution, included in the Ordinance Session which shall be communicated to the Diocesan Synod for approval before it can be finally passed. Copy of Report of The Archbishop's of Melbourne's Provincial Committee - Ecumenical Affairs 1964. Copy of Ordinance No. IV, passed 1964.

General Synod.

- August 15 1960 Correspondence regarding selection of representatives to General Synod given the new Mandate. Attached is a copy of the Mandate from the Primate Frank Woods convening a meeting of General Synod for the Bishop of each of the Dioceses of Australia and their representatives. The Constitution of the General Synod recently styled the United Church of England and Ireland and now styled "the Church of England in Australia and Tasmania". Page 55.
