NotesBible -- Theology
Bible -- Criticism, interpretation, etcUnderstanding what the Bible teaches about itself is an issue of central importance. However, correct theologies of the Bible can be expressed in non-biblical categories; and it would be foolish to believe of the Bible what it does not claim for itself, whether implicitly or explicitly. Peter Adam's conviction is that there is a coherent 'biblical theology of the Bible'. In this wide-ranging volume, he searches the Scriptures to find their answer to the question of their identity and use.--BOOK JACKET.
