- To Reverend W. A. Smyly ( William Archibald ) Tower Hill - Koroit .... Robert Sellar Esquire ( of McCulloch, Sellar and Co., Queen Street Melbourne ) Merchant, would be willing to act as your representative. September 3 1872. Page 1.

- To R. H Rodda ( Richard Henry? ) Broadmeadows ...The proper course will be to sell the building with the condition attached that it shall be removed within a couple of days. The proceeds of the sale must be applied to educational purposes in connection with the Church of England. They must not be used for ...either Church or Parsonage... It would be improper to give away this building, however little it may be worth for improving the parsonage property. September 3 1872. Page 5.

- To Venerable Archdeacon Crawford ( Archibald ) ... Please inform me ... by return of post, if any building has been erected on the Church Reserve at Harcourt, or whether it has been fenced on or improved in any way. It appears that before it was temporarily appropriated to our use, it had been set apart for the R. C. Church... September 5 1872. page 23.

Weir Esquire... regarding compensation for services at Preston and Epping... consideration of Finance Committee... did not meet with the response I hoped for... at Cranbourne where you are now.. I would beg you to accept the accompanying cheque for 5 pounds as a small acknowledgement of your assistance ...to use toward the expenses of your removal... Bishopscourt. July 17 1871. Pages 26 - 27.

- To Reverend H. C. M. Watson ( Henry Crocker Marriott ) ... at the meeting of the Council of the Diocese the Bishop brought under consideration your request that the expense of submitting the plans of Broadford Church to the Diocesan Architect might be avoided, when it was advised that the ordinary course of submitting plans must not be departed from. September 14 1872. Page 70.

Myring Esquire, Campbell's Creek... the business of the Church Assembly has delayed my reply to the application for a loan in aid of the Church at Campbell's Creek. ... a loan of 150 pounds payable with 7 per cent per annum in five years by equal half-yearly installments can be had on the following conditions 1. land on which church is erected is duly vested in Trustees. 2. plans of the building are approved. 3. subscriptions towards the building amounting to not less than 150 pounds be raised and a list be furnished. 4. That 300 pounds be expended on the building. The second condition involves submitting the plans to the Diocesan Architect ( Mr. Terry ). A fee of 2 guineas will also have to be paid to the Church Management Fund for the services of the Registrar .... September 25 1872. Pages 117 - 118.

- To The Hon. J. F.? Smith from W. E. Morris for The Registrar ( Church Assembly Room Melbourne ) .. With reference with the accompanying document respecting the alteration of the boundaries of St John's Parish I should mention that it has not been overlooked that there is still a debt due by the Trustees in respect to the church. The Bishop will not of course do anything to complete the proposed alteration unless the Trustees signify their ascent or the debt be paid off. November 20 1872. Page 356a.

- To P. P. Labertouche Esquire 17 Wellington Parade ... amended application to bring the church land at Brunswick under the Act. The application has been completed and will be forwarded to the Crown Lands Office today. It will then be duly advertised.... January 21 1873. Page 738.
